The writings of Aizen Malki

 I grew up in and around Miami, Florida. I was raised by two powerfully inspiring parents who always supported the idea of creative writing. From a father who wrote and produced 200+ songs, to a mother who read and told stories to me throughout childhood, I’ve always been surrounded by creative energy.  

I took my first crack at writing a novel at the young age of 9 years old on my mother's Windows 98 computer. It was filled with dragons, knights, magic, and adventure. Once I got a taste of world building, I would never look back. 

As a kid, I was inspired by science fiction novels like Among the Hidden by Margaret Peterson Haddix and The Supernaturalist by Eoin Colfer. Before long, I began shifting my focus more toward sci-fi themes.

Wise words and criticisms from one literature teacher to the next propelled me through the process of becoming a dedicated writer. I wanted to show the world what imagination could do; and still do.
